I wasn’t always the cruise-obsessed travel agent I am today. In fact, it took a full eight years of gentle (okay, maybe not so gentle) nudging from my wife before I finally agreed to go on my very first cruise in 2010. I had all the usual doubts: Would I get seasick? Would I be bored? Was cruising really that fun?

Spoiler alert: it was more fun than I ever imagined.

That first cruise completely changed how I looked at travel. One minute we were enjoying cocktails under the Caribbean sun, the next we were exploring ancient ruins or wandering through colorful markets in exotic ports. And the best part? Unpacking only once while waking up somewhere new almost every day.

Fast forward to now, and I've been on nearly 20 cruises (and counting!) across the world. From the tropical beaches of the Carribean to the breathtaking fjords of Alaska, I’ve experienced a wide range of ships, itineraries, and destinations.
